Integrate Oracle Internet Directory with Oracle E-Business Suite

Oracle Internet Directory is required for any LDAP or single sign-on integration with Oracle E-Business Suite. Use the instructions in following My Oracle Support Knowledge Documents to integrate Oracle Internet Directory with Oracle E-Business Suite.


Register Instance


$FND_TOP/bin/txkrun.pl -script=SetSSOReg -registerinstance=yes

It prompts for required arguments as follows:
Enter the host name where the Oracle iAS Infrastructure database is installed ? dbaloungeapps.com
Enter the LDAP Port of the Oracle Internet Directory server ? 3060
Enter SSL LDAP Port of the Oracle Internet Directory server ? 3131
Enter the Oracle Internet Directory Administrator (orcladmin) Bind password ? Welcome1
It does the following:
It validates the arguments
It registers this instance with the single sign-on host.


Register OID

$FND_TOP/bin/txkrun.pl -script=SetSSOReg -registeroid=yes
It prompts for required arguments as follows
Enter the LDAP Host name ? dbaloungeapps.com
Enter the LDAP Port of the Oracle Internet Directory server ? 3060
Enter the Oracle Internet Directory Administrator (orcladmin) Bind password ? manager2
Enter the instance password that you would like to register this application instance with ? test123
Enter the Oracle E-Business Suite apps database user password ? APPS
It does the following:
It validates the arguments
It registers this instance with OID Server and creates provisioning.
