    Rolling back Autoconfig using restore.sh

    In case your autoconfig run has created some issues in your environment and you want to rollback autoconfig run, you can do so by running restore.sh script.

    For every autoconfig run, autoconfig will create a directory “MMDDhhmm” under APPL_TOP/admin/$CONTEXT_NAME/out on 11i. Inside these directories, there will be several files which autoconfig has taken a backup off before making changes.

    There will be a script restore.sh. This script is going to copy these backup files to the original location and this has the effect to rolling back autoconfig run.

    On R12
    =======
    cd $INST_TOP/admin/out/MMDDhhmm
    $restore.sh
